Hi, I'm Maya. I graduated Baruch College with a B.A. in journalism and a minor in art history. I currently write about all things automotive for the website HotCars. I am now seeking to use my skills in a full-time entry-level editorial or museum position. I love writing, editing, and reading. I'm interested in journalism because I love storytelling and giving a voice to my subjects. Learning about other people's achievements, dreams, and struggles inspires me. I'm always curious about the world we live in, and I experience fulfillment when I tell someone's story. This site has the work I've completed.

- My favorite books are My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, The Call of the Wild by Jack London, Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys, and All Quiet on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque.
- I believe that both the ocean salt water and mountain air are the cure for everything.
- I've been to nine countries and love learning about other cultures.
